Hearing Services Patient Survey

Hearing services, also known as audiology services, are offered in local hospitals and on the high street.
This includes adult hearing (hearing tests and assessments) and the supply and fitting of NHS hearing aids as well as a review of the information, advice, follow up appointments and after care offered to patients.
Helen Rowney, Transformation and Commissioning Partner, said: “In line with the rest of the country, we have an ageing population with an increased likelihood of hearing loss. This means that demand for both hearing assessment and treatment services is likely to rise substantially.
“We need to provide more efficient and effective services to meet this demand.
“We would love to hear from patients who have received treatment for hearing conditions over the last three years so that we can learn what is working well, and what we can improve about our services.
“By looking at every element of our services and listening to your feedback, we can make the right changes to ensure we are able to offer a joined-up service that meets the needs and wishes of our population.”
If you’ve used our current services, please complete a short survey to help shape the design of the future service.
The survey, which has been developed with input from patient representatives and Healthwatch, can be completed here.
If you need the survey in a different format, please email us at stwccg.communicationsteam@nhs.net.

The survey will close on 29th May 2022.
