Dr Deborah Shepherd

Deborah has been a GP since 1995, first in Hertfordshire and for the last 15 years in Shropshire. She has had roles in GP appraisal and education before joining Shropshire CCG as Locality Chair for Shrewsbury and Atcham in 2017.

As Medical Director, Deborah provides clinical advice to the management team steering medical professional leadership, management and continuing professional development (CPD) across NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin CCG. Deborah’s role supports the CCG to improve the quality and value of care across the system, providing not only a clinical voice but acting as an advocate for patients.
