Dr Martin Allen

Dr Allen is a hospital consultant with interests in a variety of respiratory problems including COPD, ventilatory support and sleep medicine. He has held a variety of management posts within the hospital including head of division. He has also held, and continues to hold, a number of national posts.

As the secondary clinician on the CCG Governance Board, Martin’s role is to bring a broader view on health and care issues to underpin the work of the CCG from a secondary care perspective. In particular, he will bring to the governing body an understanding of patient care in the secondary care setting.
