Sam Tilley
Sam has worked in the NHS for over 20 years, initially in and around London and more recently in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin. Her roles have spanned community, mental health and acute settings and more latterly have focussed on commissioning and corporate governance. In particular, Sam has worked closely with key stakeholders in Shropshire developing partnership approaches and key strategies for NHS Shropshire and NHS Telford and Wrekin CCGs. Prior to working in the NHS, Sam worked in allied health roles in both the private and voluntary sectors with a focus on corporate social responsibility and the role of health and wellbeing in large scale regeneration projects.
As Director of Planning, Sam focusses on the development of CCG and the health system strategy as well as the production and delivery of the CCG’s annual operational plan, commissioning intentions and Health & Care Needs Assessment. Sam leads on integrated business and service intelligence, including the development of Population Health Management approaches. In addition, Sam is responsible for emergency planning including business continuity arrangements, and winter / seasonal planning.
