Mental Health – Every Mind Matters
We don’t need to wait until we are struggling with our mental health; there are lots of things we can do to protect ourselves and prevent problems escalating, just as we do with our physical health.
Public Health England’s Every Mind Matters campaign encourages you to be more aware of your mental health and helps you to discover simple steps to look after your mental health and wellbeing and help others to deal with stress, boost your mood and feel on top of things. There is also advice on how to create a personalised Mind Plan.
Apps and resources
The Every Mind Matters website offers a range of useful resources that help spot the signs of common mental health concerns, provides practical self-care tips and guidance and, importantly, explains when to seek further support.
There are also tips and advice focused on looking after your mental and physical health and wellbeing during the COVID-19 outbreak.
A free NHS-approved online tool is available which helps you build an action plan to deal with stress and anxiety, boost your mood, improve your sleep and help you feel more in control.
