The Accessible Information Policy sets out the ICB’s approach to identifying, recording, flagging and sharing of information relating to patients and their communication needs, where this need arises from a disability, impairment or sensory loss.

This policy describes the scope of volunteering and the approach of NHS STW to the management of volunteers that provides them with support to undertake this valuable role.

Raising Concerns at Work Policy (CORP001)

The policy contains the procedure to be followed when employees wish to raise concerns in relation to NHS STW or the services it commissions.

The ultimate aim of this policy is to promote a culture within the organisation which promotes honesty and accountability and enables individuals to report any concerns which they believe to be in the public interest and that they will be protected from reprisals or victimisation.

    Subject Access Request Standard Operating Procedure (IG007)

    The Standing Operating Procedure (SOP) sets out what staff should do when receiving a request for personal information, such as medical information or staff information, and applies to NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin for records for which they are the Data Controller (or Data Processor as required).

      Declaration of Gifts, Hospitality & Sponsorship – Anti-Bribery Policy (CORP004)

      This policy sets out NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care Board’s (ICB) policy and procedure for ICB employees, Board and Committee members and contractors to declare gifts, hospitality, commercial sponsorship to ensure the requirements of the Bribery Act 2010 dealing with the requirements of the Bribery Act 2010. This document should be read in conjunction with the Conflicts of Interest Policy.

      Standards of Business Conduct Policy

      As a public sector body, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care Board (the ICB) must be impartial and honest in the conduct of business and employees should remain beyond suspicion. The ICB operates within an environment of mutual openness, honesty and transparency. This policy has been developed to protect both staff and the ICB against contention or allegations of misconduct.

      The Standards of Business Conduct Policy is included within the ICB’s Governance Handbook.

        Conflicts of Interest Policy

        The aim of this policy is to protect both the organisation and individuals involved from impropriety or any appearance of impropriety by setting out how the ICB will manage conflicts of interest to ensure there can be confidence in the probity of commissioning decisions and the integrity of the clinicians involved with the work of the ICB. The policy will help to foster an open and transparent culture which provides an environment where everyone working on behalf of the ICB, or in key partnerships with the ICB,  is able to identify and help manage conflicts of interest where they may arise.

        The Conflicts of Interest Policy is included within the ICB’s Governance Handbook.
