Local help and support for bereavement

The loss of a loved one through sudden unexplained death and suicide is a uniquely devastating circumstance. It can create a particularly complex set of feelings in those left behind and leave us with unanswered questions which are hard to resolve.

The suicide bereavement service is available to families, friends, colleagues and anyone living in Shropshire Telford &Wrekin who feels affected by a suicide and can help you find the path to the right support, understanding and recovery.

  • Help to access any other support you need
  • Practical and emotional support

The loss of a loved one can be a very challenging time. Specialist support is available to people who have been bereaved and need support and guidance during this period of time.

Shropshire Bereavement Support

For any reason not necessarily suicide related.

This service provides free and confidential bereavement support for any Shropshire resident that lives in a postcode served by Shropshire Council who has experienced a bereavement.

Young people aged 11 or under will need agreement from a parent/carer to access the bereavement service.
